PeoplePC Announces Listing on Nasdaq SmallCap Market

SAN FRANCISCO, Apr 12, 2002 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- PeoplePC, Inc. (Nasdaq:PEOP) announced today that the Nasdaq National Market has approved the company's request to have its Common Stock traded on the Nasdaq SmallCap Market, effective with the open of business Monday, April 15, 2002. The company's securities will continue trading under its current symbol: PEOP.

The Nasdaq SmallCap Market, like the Nasdaq National Market, is an established automated trading market and daily trading volume and closing price will continue to be available on the same basis as before, through online services, financial newspapers and general circulation newspapers.
