AAA Southern New England and PeoplePC to Offer Bundled Computing Solutions to 1.8 Million Members

PROVIDENCE, R.I.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 11, 2001--AAA Southern New England (AAASNE) and PeoplePC Inc. (NASDAQ:PEOP), the company that makes it easy and affordable to get online, today announced a co-marketing agreement whereby AAASNE will offer PeoplePC's affordable computing solutions and online services to its 1.8 million members.

The members of AAASNE will be able to choose between PeoplePC's three bundled desktop solutions and one laptop solution, all of which include a new, brand-name computer, service warranty, unlimited Internet access, 24/7 technical support, and membership in a unique online community. They can also sign up for PeoplePC's ISP-only offer, PeoplePC Online(TM).

PeoplePC and AAASNE will develop a co-branded welcome page for AAASNE members that will make it easy to connect to a host of AAASNE online services, including Internet trip routing, travel packages, online banking, financial services and insurance products.
