PeoplePC to Broadcast Review of First Quarter 2001 Results Live Over the Internet

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 18, 2001--PeoplePC, Inc. (NASDAQ:PEOP) today announced it will broadcast its first quarter 2001 investor conference call live over the Internet on Wednesday, April 25, at 5 p.m. EST (2 p.m. PST).

The broadcast will be hosted on the company's Investor Relations Web site located at www.peoplepc.com. Participants should allow approximately five minutes prior to the call's start time to visit the site and download any streaming media software needed to listen to the Internet broadcast. An online archive of the broadcast will be available two hours following the live call and will remain on the site for 2 weeks.

PeoplePC expects to report first quarter 2001 results after the market closes on Wednesday, April 25, 2001.
